sounds like maybe you had a "bloody show" from losing your mucus plug? My doc says to look for it from 34 wks on....and if thats the case....its anytime now for you!!! I wish you all the best....congrats.

The biggest thing Im learning is make sure you are drinking enough water.......my birth instructor says it over and over. It will cause false labor and pain BH contractions. She even suggested drinking a few glasses of water and if things dont calm down to call the doctor. She said alot of times you go in and they IV you and send you back home. So make sur...

Wow 6lbs at 34wks sounds like you may have a big baby....but it depends on if you go full term or not. Im guessing you will come out around 8 to 9lbs. And like above US arent always right.

sounds like you were dehydrated.....you mentioned after the IV the contractions subsided some. My birthing instructor reminded us each class....drink as much water as you can stand or the Braxton Hicks will give you false labor pains early on. She described what you went thru as to what would happen. I have BH now almost daily....but they arent painful...just...
