My father had H-pylori (or so doc said) he lost ALOT of weight and this was supposedly the problem. I would def go in and have an ultrasound done to check your gallbladder. Good luck!

I recently had my gallbladder removed and I was told that yogurt with probiotics will help regulate my bowel again and keep the yeast at bay after all of the antibiotics I have had to take. Is this true? If so, what is the recommended daily intake? Yogurt = yuckie, but I will eat it if it works. There actually are yogurts that don't taste like yogurt. ...

Thanks CalGal. I have followed a very strict diet but this last weekend I had a small bit of fried fish. (Went fishing, couldn't resist.....my bad) Could this have set it off? Also, will this happen all of the time now? I know we have to have small amounts of good fat in our diets, but I am wondering if all fats, even eaten in small quantities, will upset ...

I just had my gallbladder removed 4 weeks ago. Although I was feeling much better, yesterday I started having the exact same pains I was having prior to the surgery.
