An injection for a heart test and 1 year of headpain and a hot burning sensation in head.

Sept 11th/06 I went for a 2 day heart test at a hospital. I went home after the tests each day. Day one - intravenous injection, treadmill, heart scan -20min. test Day two - fast, injection in vein and told to eat lunch and return for same type of scan.. Could an injection for a heart test have have caused this Vasculitis - Giant Cell? I never hot burning sensations and head pain 2r hrs/day before this test. Someone please tell me if this is possible and what could have gone wrong.

I have just discovered that this can be walking on the treadmill one day with an IV injection and a scan of my heart latter. Have you seen a doctor? These are not symptoms to ignore, especially when it involves the eyes and head. Please see a doctor because there are some illnesses with these symptoms that can cause sudden and permanent blindness. It could also be your heart.

Hi I'm glad that your doctor is sending you to a therapist. In the meantime what would make you feel safe and less stress? Have you discussed how you feel with a parent or family member of the adult age group, that you feel comfortable around? I agree with catt33, sounds like alepecia. My hair was falling out from the medication predisone. I know that is not your case but I took vitamin E, its helps withe hair loss. Always get a doctor's opinion about a condition. Vitamin E will not hurt you in the meantime.
