I also just go to an OBGYN and they definitely don't do as much monitoring as RE's. I've found that I need to educate myself and then make sure I ask a lot of questions. When my OBGYN put my on Clomid, she just gave me the prescrption and sent me on my way. I ended up calling back once I saw all the monitoring that other doctors do and requested ultrasound...

Doing your OPK at lunch is fine. I have to take mine while at work too, so that works the best for me. Like Heather said, as long as you avoid the first morning urine, you should be fine.
