My biopsy experience. Date was March 16 2008. EMGs are actually not very painfull. The muscle biopsy is like going for surgery depending on how big they are cutting, mine was 5 inches. Thank you for your input and any others wanting to post please feel free to do so. I just do not want to believe it is ALS and looking for other possible causes. I have had 2 opinions and both concurr that it is ALS but i can't believe it.

Finally after several years I have a diagnosis. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. I had a breathing crisis and went into hospital and there they did every test under the sun.
