Anxiety can manifest itself in many ways, especially when the it is related to our health in my opinion. Becoming oversensitized to every bodily feeling is quite common when suffering from this. The first piece of advice I would give is to trust your doctor and continue to express your concerns. Usually, the doctors are right and are a MUCH better resource...

First off, please do not self medicate. Always ensure you are in consultation with your prescribing doctor whenever there is a change to your dosage or schedule. Medications affect different people in different ways. It depends on ADs you are on and which benzos you are on that affect all of these different things. Keep us posted.

How long have you been seeing your current psychiatrist? Is he a right fit for you? By your comment, it sounds like the answer may be no. In my experience, it sometimes takes a little trial and error (and some patience) to find a good therapist that works for you. Having said that, just ensure you are completely honest with him and continue to expresss you...

I would have to agree with lonewolf. If this is bothering you have you considered going to talk this through with someone? Learning about why you are thinking the way you do, can really shed a lot of light on the subject.
