Thanks "doctor friend"! I am going to OHSU, but luckily, the neurology department is in the new building at the bottom of the tram line; much easier to get to. The view from the office is amazing; the Marquam bridge soaring over the river, from the eighth floor. I stopped by one day to check it out. Kathy

Thanks, Kristin! I've had two weanie neuros, and I think they've made me a little nervous. I'm determined to deal as effectively as possible with this new doctor, to encourage her to look deeply for a diagnosis. Best of luck in Boston! I hope your hand improves soon; I've heard that amytriptyline can be very helpful.
