Yes - I have had some friends that have hired a friend to take photos and he did a great job! Just look for the less advertised photographer (less popular in your area).

Mine cost right around $10,000 - but my mom bought a fancy photographer and that was almost 2,000 and then the food was a buffet, but it was a full meal so that was another 2,000 - and then dress, shoes, cake, decorations, flowers, etc. If you can cut back on photography - that was the our biggest expense - but my mom didn't want to, b/c she wanted the photo...

Just an update! So this seems like the never-ending pregnancy - I do have an ultrasound scheduled for today (4pm eastern time). We will see just how big Landen is and how he is positioned (hopefully head down and ready to come out!). The ultrasound was supposed to be last week, but the u/s tech was out sick. He has to come out soon! There is just not any ...

Yes - I need to pack some depends (lol) that is what i am going to use instead of the hospital pads- my sister and sis in law swear that they were more comfortable and they felt "cleaner" reading and music is a good idea too! Thanks!~

well I packed - but was thinking that I was missing something - let me know if you think of anything different. I can't believe you aren't dilated! You have been having much more contractions and pains than I am and I am 1 cm - I figured you'd be at least that or more!
