I would start with a Rheumy Dr first because they can address the cause if it is indeed Lupus and start you on treatment. They will then send you to a cardiologist who will manage your problems. I have had cardiomyopothy for 5 years and it is managed by both my Lupus dr and my heart dr. My ejection fraction has improved with treatment.
My first sign was a decrease in urinating. Sometimes there is nothing noticable at all until you have routine blood test done....then they will find protein, blood and such in your urine and a high creatine and bun in blood. I have lupus nephritits, it is treatable.
Yes Yes Yes.....I can cause pancreatitis
Yes it can damage your heart, mine is damaged.....I have cardiomyopathy. Please tell your doctor right away, so they can stop any damage from happening.

I have autoimmune pancreatitis and Imuran helped me very much. I didn't have that many side effects, but I did have to have routine bloodtests very month. Don't be afaid of it, it really works
