I had my calcified ligament removed back in Sept. 08. The jaw line still feels tight, but the pain has definetly gotten better. My ENT told me that the area would be sore for about 3-4 months. Still have some minor swelling in the jaw line, but like I said, it is getting better. ...

Not misdiagnosed with gout, but misdiagnosed with fibro. Good thing I did not settle for the fibro diagnosis. I believe it is a real disease, but I just knew I did not have it. Seek more opinions if you are not comfortable, you are the only one who knows your body.

I am thankful for you guys as well. It is nice to correspond with people who will not think you are crazy..... Thankful for my life in general...(all of it) ! Yes, even though I have medical issues. There is a reason for everything, not going to question God.

Had a TT and all went well. No hoarsenss. Scar healed very nicely and you have to look really really close to even see it. Also had another gland removed (submandibular) and two lymp nodes, all went well, no hoarseness there either. Great news on it being benign!!

I developed hyper/graves after my son was born. I had dropped to 88 lbs back then. I had a doctor tell me that for some reason women will develop it after giving birth. I ended up having to have TT. I was misdiagnosed so I was not put on any medication and by the time they figured it out it was to late so had to have the surgery. On medication now and will...
