Thank you... I'm just wondering... what happen to your mother's valve? I thought they were suppose to last longer than that... My first 2 OHS were repairs, the 3rd one was a replacement, also a porcine valve(in 2002) lasted six years only because I went through another pregnancy with my daughter(now 6 1/2 mos old) ...this is why I need the 4th OHS... Good...

Thanks for you message!... I don't really know what to say... I guess there will be lots of thing to watch out for while on this medication... ... It's just that I've been drug free as far as ongoing meds after all what I've been through, 3 OHS awaiting the 4th one, and a history of osteosarcoma...... I don't think I will like being on this med at all..... ...

Welcome back!!! I'm soooo glad to hear everything went great... well except for the pain and other little things, but at least you didn't need a valve replacement which is awesome!!! .... Hi... I'm 29yo, female and due for my 4th OHS soon due to severe mitral valve stenosis accompanied by moderate pulmonary hypertension...(I had 2 mitral valve repairs and 1 replacement (porcine valve))..... I was just wondering... is the PH ever gonna go away after the OHS? If so... how long does it usually take? .... Also (it might be a crazy question, but ...

What are the do's and don'ts while on this medication? I like to eat lots of greens... is it going to be a problem?
