it's all on the National Health Service :) they're keeping me in for so long cos i've gotta get back to the island when i come home which means travelling on a packed ferry so can't come home till i'm safe to travel on public transport... any suggestions on things to take it to keep me occupied??? thanks to all of you, will keep in touch of course! ...

hi all :) not long now, feeling pretty hypo, just a few q's for those who know :) 1. did they keep you on LID while in hospital? i gotta stay in for 4 nights! 2. when did they start you back on meds? i need my meds! will keep in touch and let you know when i'm back! thanks guys, love hypo hel x x x

hiya gloria a lower dosage of levo will raise your TSH (as TSH is produced in response to lowered thyroid hormone levels - thyroxine) a too higher dosage of thyroxine will supress TSH levels and cause hyperthyroid symptoms i would be able to explain it better if i wasn't suffering from severe hypo at the mo and have brain fog - i'm sure someone o...

hi TxMomOfFaith i had my whole thyroid removed because of a suspicious 4cm nodule that turned out to be benign on final pathology but they also found a 2cm papillary carcinoma on the other side which would still be there if they hadn't taken the whole thing out, it was also unencapsulated and pretty close to spreading else where (which a recent scan shows...

gotta be a 2 today - feeling pretty hypo and still just under a week to go before i get RAI and can go back on meds again, achy, cold, tired, shivery/shaky, forgetfull and slow!
