Thank you for you additional comments, rbird. I just found out today that there is a neurologist in Denver who works with patients with dysautonomia, and they suggested that I postpone my surgery until after I have had a chance to speak with the doctor there. It's just a torn miniscus in my knee that we're talking about, so of course I can postpone it until...

I forgot to mention that I have been coughing up a plug of yellow mucus every time I wake up, which is sometimes several times a day lately, since lying down is part of the way I manage my pain from Peripheral Neuropathy. Even when sitting up I have been feeling very tired. Katijanae
