I bet you do feel like you have a time bomb in there! Truth is, there are increased incidences of arthritis in bones that have been fractured BUT that does not mean you will be in miserable pain suffering out the rest of your life. If this is a progression of FMS, it is not one with which I am familiar. Did your doctor test you (labs, x-rays, MRIs, etc.) for everything else before he diagnosed you with FMS? Sorry you are still in pain after 5 months of therapy. How much longer do you have to go? Surgery may be a blessing if it is not getting better.

I am not an expert, but your symptoms sound like many that are reported here by members with it. MS had to be ruled out with some of the symptoms I had with RA.
