I had a sore throat for a couple of weeks and on December 21st my throat was so sore, and my tonsils had swollen so badly that they were squishing against my Uvula, so on December 22nd, I went to Urgent Care. For any doctors here, I'll highlight what are in boxes: LKCS 13.6, ABSOLUTE LYMPHS 7.6, ABS MONOS 1.0, AST 61, ALT 64 (I'm assuming boxed ones...

Sounds like anxiety or panic. Try things like lavendar spray, tea with chamomile. I have the exact same thing. I'm stubborn, however, and haven't gone on medication yet. I want to try all natural stuff. I went and bought tension tamer/reliever tea. It has catnip (opposite effect on humans than cats), chamomile, peppermint and a bunch of other stuff ...

This is normal for 2 and 3 year olds to "test" boundaries. I cannot stress enough that you HAVE to be consistent. No exceptions whatsoever. And don't give in to her by switching mommy/daddy attempting to do the tasks. Although it's a different person, it doesn't show consistency. At my centre, we have a jar and it's called a ...

If I were her, I would call the orphanage. I know when I got my job here in Canada (at a dayare centre), I had to make sure I got a TB test, a blood test(testing for chicken pox and a couple other things), I had to get a tetanus shot because it was around that time to renew it, but they required it. It's best to call the city and see what they require...

Maybe! It's always a possibility that a medication or something can affect your birth control. If it did affect it, your body might not have absorbed the pill as much as it needs. Therefore, your body could think you stopped taking it sort of thing. I know a lot of people who don't get their period after they stop taking the pills for a month or mor...

Any other symptoms? I had this in the "incubation" period (period before symptoms, but you're contagious) before I found out I had mono.

I don't know what you're stressed out about, but any stress is not good. Feel free to message me if you want to chat. I have been through an INSANE amount of stuff that I shouldn't have gone through at my age. If you don't message or friend me, check my journals daily. I'm going to try to update daily. I started last night. It tou...

I have a lot of problems with anxiety. I don't want my first choice to be to go to the doctors and get something prescribed. I have fluttering in my chest at least once a day, and about every other day does it progress to shortness of breath, tunnel vision/dizziness, and more fear of it getting worse, which of course doesn't help stop it. What a...

I got this spray that helps numb the throat and mouth. It's not really working too much, but it works better than cough drops for me. I tried other medication, but it won't work because mono is a virus and can only leave when it wants. Grrrrrr!! Lol. Thank you so much for your suggestions, for keeping me in your prayers, and for your last three sent...

I live in Canada, so health care for me is not out of pocket. I went to urgent care initially. They did a blood test that confirmed I had mono, and they did a physical to check my spleen which WAS enlarged. I have never had mono before in my life. He gave me regular painkillers (ibuprofen... not sure if that's the correct spelling) as well as cod...
