As a mom of 5 (one with CP) and a nurse... Babies are often sent home still jaundiced...with biliblankets/bililights...your son's hypoxic event could have been due to another cause...perhaps something the hospital missed... My son received GT feedings also. Since he often refused oral foods, then was restricted from them, I did feed pureed through the tube as well. In my opinion (as a nurse and a mom) the oral baclofen would be worth a try. It can take a few weeks to determine the effects. Worth a try. Keep me posted.
