It does sound like Lupus, but could also be a medication reaction, or a vitamin toxicity or deficiency. Have you researched RSD??? I think it's called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. I know it causes color changes and pain.

It sounds like an autoimmune response or hormone imbalances. The fact that the sun and heat might be a factor tells me it's most likely Lupus. The problem is that you can show that the sun is causing it and the doc can still say you don't have Lupus.
