I am not a physician, but the mom of a type one diabetic. I have not heard of any correlation between type one and your problem. I would suggest that your contact the jdrf.org on line diabetes support team they might have some one on there team that would be better to help you.

I would suggest you try to get insurance even if it is thru Medicaid. When you do get insurance you will most likely have a pre existing clause which means that they will not pay for at least 1 year even when you get insurance.

we have use the remote for the 508 when our daughter was on it. the only place to get the remote that works with the pumps is thru minimed. they are defenitly worth the investment.

i would also wathc what he is eating if he is eating alot of ": sugar free " foods that have manitol , or sorbitol tha can effect the stomach and give severe cramps as they are the active ingredent in laxatives, but used to make sugar free foods sweet. we had this problem wuith our daughter. we eliminated the " sugar free foods and gave her regular foods ...
