I have been off 2 years this February. My surgery was cancelled today because they did the lab work again on Friday and they are lower than Monday. My Hgb, Hematocrit, Platelets, Absolute neutrophils & RBCs. they have continued to lower since August so I was referred to a hematologist today to see whats up?? Hello everyone, I am suppose to have cervical surgery next week. I just got my pre-op lab work back and have some abnormal. I wanted to know if any of you that have completed tx have abnormal CBC and platelets? My WBCs, Hgb, Hct. and platelets have been low since starting treatment and completing tx. I too am an RN but have gained more knowledge here. I got no help from the HCV nurse and minimum from my GI doctor that treated me. I know everyone here has had my experience and can give me emotional support and discuss problems we all share. It is a wonderful forum. proud48

I have had 3 UTIs in last 6 months. How long should I be off the Levaquin I just finished before having a C&S? I was put on Macrobid for 1 year in August after finishing 10 days of Cipro. I have chronic bladder infections and on long term Macrobid and still get frequent UTIs. I have had 3+ bacteria for the last 2 months despite Cipro and Levaquin. This morning the UTI is back with burning, frequency. They did not do a C&S before Cipro I think because it is always e-coli. What could be wrong with these 2 meds not working?....I am so tired of th...
