I am a 49 yr old female who had a stroke one week ago. After having a TEE, my doctor told me I had an atrial septal aneurysm. I understand what it is, but have no clue what they do about this!!! He mentioned pills or surgery - but I am not even 50. Can't this thingy be repaired? Help!!!
