A Herximer reaction is common when on a treatment program with antibiotics for lymes. Some doctors use the herximer reaction over blood tests to accurately diagnose lymes. You could experience ANY of the hypothyroid symptoms....wow I could never imagine missing a whole weeks worth of medicine. I keep mine right on my bathroom sink so I can take it the minute I get up in the morning. It can become a very serious life threatening situation for you not to take your thyroid meds....I dont think I would let that happen again.

The caps on FREE that Stella wrote means the types of tests. There are older tests that involve t4 and t3, but the only ones that are true tests are the Free T3 test and the Free T4 test. Even though you are within normal range, that isn't a normal range for someone with hypothyroidism...make sense? lol Most feel better around the 1.0 range. IF you have Hashimotos then it has to be kept between the .50-1.0 range.....BUT....when properly dosed on Armour it is a different ball game. Your TSH will look like you are hyper, Free T3 should be high ...

Sure can, especially if you have Hashimotos. What were your most recent lab results? Did you have the antibody tests done? How about your free t3 and free t4 tests? All have to be done in order to get a full look at what is going on. Hope you feel better! :)
