Holly, Have you had an EEG? While on the quest to find out what is wrong with me - I have been having similar symptoms off and on for 18 years - they discovered I have a seizure disorder (via the EEG); mine are simple partial seizures (SPS). I ask because I often smelled odors (usually foul ones) that were not there as well as dizziness when I had the seizur...
How long did it take to diagnose you as having MS?

Welcome to the forum. I too am rather new here. But, I have found a home and wonderful people who are always ready to provide support. I have been one of those who have been dealing with this a long, long time and still in limbo land; fortunately I recently found a good neurologist and am on the road to actually finding some answers, of course it also helped ...
Epilepsy and MS

Thanks again to everyone. The neuo office, when they called, only said they think it may be temporal lobe epilepsy, so I have a boat load of questions on the 13th. Just wanted to ask if anyone is on or has taken Trileptal. My neuo office called me at work last week and said the EEG showed I could have a seizure at anytime and needed to start this medication ASAP, it might be temporal lobe epilepsy, not sure what else they will have to do to find out for sure. I started on the medication that day. Spent Friday and Monday...

Well I had my second night at the sleep lab last night; they used a BiPAP on me. What an awful night. I don't know - even if it can help me a bit - whether I can deal with that on my face. Of course, if I were home in my own bed it might be better. The tech told me everything will be looked over and I will be contacted. Thanks for all the input. I'll keep you...
