The key here is that if there is something that requires further evaluation, the pain will persist. If it does not resolve in 10 days, you may need more high resolution imaging.

The tissues may be sensitive to the harsh reagents but I would recommend that you see your surgeon to double check.

You should see your otolaryngologist- There are many possibilities ranging from a lingering sinus infection to viral mediated anosmia. An office evaluation will usually help to determine the underlying cause.

1. Is there a possibility something worrisome could be going on here? Difficult to say but a fine needle biopsy of the lymph nodes will usually help determine if there is something to worry about. Before a needle biopsy is done, a careful clinical history focused on weight loss, night sweats, infection, etc. is required. 2. What I want to know is, in you...

You need a lidocaine test wherein your nose and septum are treated with anesthesia- if your headaches resolve, you may be having contact headaches.

I would recommend that you consider a pediatric otolaryngologist at the nearest major academic medical center. This problem sounds a little more perplexing than the typical otlagia- Has anyone checked his throat to make sure that this pain is not referred from the throat? Again, a major medical center is your best best.
