I know what you mean about the food, Mike had to work for 3 months in the Ukraine, he said i wouldnt survive there because i look for every bit of fat when i'm buying meat he says i'm too fussy! ...

My husband goes away for long periods too. There have been times when there is no contact because of bad communication systems ect. I know exactly how you feel. Its so hard when you just want to talk to him and you cant. I hate the fact that he has to be away but its his job and what else can you do?
