I recently found out i had a herniated disk in my lower lumbar spine. I have done some research but i have a few questions. First, i want to know what i should do as of now to help my situation. they also said my white blood cell count was a little higher than it should be. i dont know if that would mean anything.

im just so scared. I went back to the hospital and all they can tell me is to take pain relievers. I dont really know if that can stop my nerves from hurting me.
