I'm 50 and found out I had the virus when I was about 30 but I was infected when I was 24. Treating back then wasn't an option for me due to my country's treatment policies and my genotype. It definitely ruled my life for exactly the reasons you mention earlier. If I could have I would have treated immediately back then especially when you are...

Is it itch and rash, or just itchy? If it's just itchy try increasing your water intake and get ahead of the game by using a urea based moisturizing cream at least twice a day ALL OVER and avoid using soaps and shampoos with Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and perfumes. Try a ph balanced soap substitute like Pinetarsol. In the meantime try antihistamines until yo...

Hi Princess. You say that you don't have periods, feel fatigued, you have night sweats and you are itching - these are all menopause symptoms. I have them all as well!! Yeast infections are also known to be part of the menopause. Suggest you check out the Menopause forum here on Med Help. The WBC and RBC may not be related and could be treated sep...

Thanks so much for the article, just what I need to show my poor ill-informed GP who just looks at me blankly when I say that my raised counts are in part due to my SVR. She refuses to accept that I could be a possible candidate for any metabolic disorder especially due to treatment and has suggested that I might be neurotic or obsessed! I believe when we hav...
