My daughter does a lot of what you describe. Although, she uses little or no eye contact. She was diagnosed with high-functioning autism a couple of years ago. She is now ten and every day there are improvements. Some days are not so good. Sometimes I feel it is one step forward and two steps back.
Over the counter pain medications do help. It is just aggravating you know one more thing to have to deal with. I can't afford to go to the doctor right now. My husband and I are not working. As soon as things look up I will go for a checkup. I am overdue for one.
My DVD/VCR combo hit me on the back of the head a few months ago. My head will still hurt if someone touches the spot where it hit. I don't mean any regular headache. I mean a real bad one. If I touch the spot it burns, like there is a scratch or something there. Could it still be bruised on the inside and should I go to the doctor for this?
