It is possible they may not be related just as much it is a possibility they are...I would look into a true Chiari specialist to help you determine if the Chiari is causing the seizures to occur.... Keeping in mind Chiari affects the spine and brain stem, and these two areas can affect our entire body.....

Chiari is a congenital condition so many of us have dealt with symptoms our entire life...not until the advent of the MRI being used for diagnosis for conditions other then cancer and the cost came down for more widespread use...most were not DX'd with Chiari until after they passed... As the above poster I can only speak t my own personal experience.....I did have more severe headaches when I would get my monthly...and it is a lot of swelling and inflammation that occurs with that and with swelling comes tighter space for blood and CSF to flow which with Chiari is tight already..... Deff talk with your OBGYN and NS to see the best ...
