I will also caution you that b4 surgery is discussed or considered, ALL related conditions should be ruled out as they can affect how you feel and heal post op. Glad you have a good NS...may I ask is that Dr on our list here? I like to keep a list of ALL Drs that are well informed of Chiari and ALL related conditions.

You may want...
Hi...yes that numbness can be due to some nerves being nicked with the staples they used to close you back up. Try and sleep on a different side to avoid laying on that area that is still tender and numb. We all heal at different rates so, no way to know how long it may feel like that. I had surgery on my brain, and I still can have a numb spot on my ...
Hi...I know what you mean....it can be quite concerning to know that you have an ongoing issue even if your Dr feels it s ok.....I had a craniotomy and a laminectomy and dura plasty and my incision continued to ooze for up to 9 months post op.....I did not have as much of an issue with my drain location. But I do understand how you feel.....and just a...
Hi...I would suggest going to your Dr and seeing about having some testing done to see what is going on.....there are several different conditions that could cause you to feel this way. Do post back and let us know what you find out.
