I laughed, I cried, I was confused and read all the posts. I agree, disagree,and am confused again! LOL...I have done tons of research and to my understanding and from what I have read...there is no cure....the treatment, which I have went through, is not a promise that the virus will be stopped. At this point in time, it is still in the experimental stage...

Thank you for your answer. Since I am in stage 4 hepC and have no money, I am willing to volunteer for any such research program. Would you have any idea where to go next? I have been following a diet to keep myself stable, but I still face liver failure and am willing to donate the time I have left to help others.

I found the same problem myself when I first came here and didn't come back for some time. I was mad, scared, wanted solid advice or just a way to deal with all that was happening to me. I have heard that there are places in California where they are working with stem cells. I saw that there was good results in horses....I would like to be a human volunteer. How could I go about this? Some of us donot have years to wait.

My mental health doctor has been researching this for me. From what we have found out so far, they have sucessfully used stem cells from horses (their own), and injected it back into the horse and the stem cells seem to know where to go and what to fix.
