Unusual reaction to pain pills

Does anyone have the same problem I have? I can't take pain meds in pill form or I get very ill like someone has punched me in the stomach. This last long after the affects of the meds should have worn off, like sometimes it lasts for more than a day. Any suggestions from anyone about what can be done? Karen

I have taken nasal spray(Stadol) for pain for 5yrs., but now it is time to see if something else will work. My rare disorder SNFSN is known to only be 35-45% affectively controled with any pain meds. does that make sense? Thank you for answer. Yes, I had those tests done. What should I ask my Doctor about their results. I had about every test done on my heart. My 2 day stay in the hosp. cost 25,000 dollars. I had thallium stress test, echo, ultrasound, CT scan and ecg. Also had doppler of the carotid arteries. What questions should I ask my dr. about these tests?

I went to the ER a few weeks ago with chest pain and PVC's which woke me up at night. My feet would swell and my pulse was 160+bpm. I was diagnosed with Tachycardia and placed on Metopropol(?sp) 1/2tab 25mgs.
