I have been on Copaxone for almost 3 months.Before I started them I did a round with solumedrol (urgh). I can honestly say that anything is better then nothing .This drug may not help all of us but I feel it is better to put up a fight then to just lay down and give in to the monster(MS). I can tell you from experience that doctors sometimes want to ignore the obvious.I had a horrible time with my GP ....it was a 2 year battle to get them to do an MRI when it was obvious that something was causing all my pain and numbness..only after a neuro who did a nerve conduction test suggested MS or spinal cord compression did they send me for an MRI.Whe...

Thanks so much ! The worst thing about it is my son seeing me cry.....he is 16 years old and a lot like the normal me , nothing used to upset me too terribly .Tonight he saw me crying and walked over and put his arm around my neck and gave me the biggest hug,when he asked me what was wrong i kind of lied of course and said "my back hurts" ...... Ok guys ....they did a blood patch and the head is all better!!! The blood patch procedure itself was one of the worst experiences of my life !! I was screaming for my momma !!! But I do have to say it was well worth the pain to get rid of that AWFUL headache.
