Happy Thanksgiving! I seem to feel overwhelmed by the holidays approaching but I am looking forward to seeing people I love. This year I am having people here on Friday for a casual "day after" "leftover" lunch. I will cook turkey breasts and thighs and slice them for sandwiches and make easy stuffing and instant gravy and canned cranberry sauce for sandwiches. I will bake sweet potato fries and make three salad and buy two desserts, a pumpkin pie and an apple tart. With beer, wine, and apple juice, that should do it. I usually have a fancy sit down dinner but I think this will be more fun and I will include games. We are all adults but we need fun, too. What are your plans?
