I also think leg pain can be related to thyroid issues. I'm hoping others more informed on this forum will weigh in.

TSH (thyroid stimilating hormone) is the test to show how well your thyroid is working. The rule of thumb here is the higher the number - the lower your thyroid is working...[more]

Unless I ever have any cancer issues to deal with again, the endo in my old practice can take over .. there was another Endo there as well as another Doc in the area that she suggested. I am just coasting AOK on 75mcgs synthroid and doing fine so unless anything crops up I'm ok but I do not like not having her around! :0

Hey C! How are you friend? I have the same days. Some good, some not so good. Probably more than bad, but I just had my labs done 3 weeks ago and my TSH was at 0.011. So I was hyper on the 90 mgs of Armour. I am not on the 75. Not sure what to think yet. I gotta say.. my period really messes everything up. it takes me awhile to get back on track after she has come and went. I have a good dr. He listens to my body, rather than the numbers. He has come out and said he believes my body will feel better at a 1 vs a 2 or higher. I basically said listen... where were my numbers before my TT. He checked and he said this is where you were. Lets try getting you there and see how you feel. So we are trying. Its just not easy.

Just a quick note to say hi! The best way to check basal temp. is in the armpit, before getting out of bed and be sure you let the thermometer stabilize. That way you get the lowest reading and it is an indicator of metabolism/thyroid levels. Also recommend taking several readings and use the average to compare to the reported normal level of 97.6-98.2.
