Thank you - your note made me smile. For years I volunteered at a group home for severely multi-handicapped adults and it was so much fun to celebrate holidays, birthdays or just have some fun doing art projects or blowing bubbles. There's so much joy when a person takes big leaps forward and does something on their own. Amber will have her own place now to decorate for the holidays. Get out those pumpkins, turkeys and lots of pretty lights for December. Isn't it fun? Give her a hug. Irene

Saw your "mood" and happy to hear Amber is enjoying her new place. Is she more comfortable cooking now? How are her neighbors? One of the hardest parts for me was being alone at night; it seemed so strangely noisy, at least noises I didn't recognize from before when I was at home. Glad to hear she's doing so well. And you hang in there Mom. It's always hard to see our babies fledge from the nest.
