[More]ver abortion, and picks us to be the adoptive parents... lol - that is soooo WRONG :o)

About Me:
Female, 34, MT, member since Mar 2007
Our quick story... DH and I tried for years to get pregnant... Looked into IVF in December 2002... Got BFP, on our own, in 2003 - M/C... Decided to go the IVF route... Even though all the HPTs came back BFN, the beta came back BFP!!! It took 2 1/2 years (from start to...
[More] BFP) but our 1st IVF worked!!! Our DD, born in 2006, is a dream come true, prayers answered... Never thought having her would make us GREEDY!!! Tried FET with 3 frozen embryos... BFN! Tried another FET with the remaining embryo... BFN! Going to keep TTC - cause it is fun :o) the trying part, that is... lol...
We have finished filling out all our adoption paperwork and are on the approved list... Now we just have to wait for a nice, sweet teenage girl to get knocked-up... lol... Who woulda thunk that all the hoops we jumped through would be easier than getting knocked up?!?!?
I believe that nagging works... therefore, I pray without ceasing that God will bless us with more children... The nagging worked for us once, maybe He will get tired of hearing us nag again and will grant our prayers!
12/6/07 - Thank you sooooo much for all your prayers... My mom went to be with the Lord today... We are so very thankful that the suffering has ended for her... She was an amazing christian woman and will be greatly missed! My heart aches that Zeva will never know her "yia-yia" (greek for grandmother) - but boy do I have plenty of stories for her!
P.S. "It whispers, so listen" - that is what is said about ovarian cancer... I know that many of us have taken mass amounts of fertility meds, and although there is no scientific evidence, I strongly encourage you to have a transvag ultrasound annually to check your ovaries for abnormalities... My mother's health/habits, were those of which the "list" says are least likely to contract ovarian cancer (having a baby before 25 - I am one of 5; breastfeeding - she breastfed all of us; having a tubaligation - she did... there are more, I just can't think straight right now)... I have watched her struggle with this disease, she beat the odds (Drs didn't give her much hope to live to see my DD born - 7/20/06 - but she did!), and although she is finally "healed" and at peace, it is very hard - no one should have to go through this...
