I am a long time, severe Oxy Contin Addict. I have been addicted to Oxy Contin since 2003. At the height of my addiction, I was taking between 10 and 20 80mg Oxy's a day. I have spent well over a few hundred thousand to support my addiction. In 2006, I lost my husband t ... [More] o Oxy's. He was 26. Between his death, and the death of my parents who were also addicts, you would think I would have stopped using. But it took a tornado in the size of a pea to almost ruin my life and make me see what I was doing. These little pills are demons. These little tiny pills no bigger then a pea, can and will destroy your life. And it took me a while to realize that I was the one letting them run my life. I wouldn't wish addiction on my worst enemy. I pray that everyone struggling with addiction finds their way out. After many, many failed attempts and trying every single method of detox, I finally am clean. Getting through the withdrawls is half the battle, and in my opinion the easiest part. Its staying clean, and fighting everyday to not relapse, that is where the tough part lies.

I have a beautiful little girl, and I plan on staying clean and living my life happy and sober...
