Thank you so much for your comments. Reading them made me cry - not because I didn't like them but because you understand. I hope that light shines on her before I'm in my grave but as long as she is safe and well, I might be able to handle this "torture" - and that's what it is.

Wow that sounds like an amazing place to live! Here in the good old UK it's nothing but rain rain and more rain!! It is supposed to be the British summer time, but it feels more like winter! Apparently it's the wettest "summer" here for over 200 years! A cactus would'nt stand a chance here, it would be dead in a week!! Gixer
