I love to dance and have my whole life with a preference for Afro Caribbean styles.
I started running when I was 40 to keep weight off after my Thyroid went out. I used to get up at 5 AM every morning and run 7 miles with 12 to 15 milers on the weekend. I have run 6 marathons and many races. Now I am lucky to run 2 to 3 x's a week and enjoy Zumba while also enduring Pilates 3xwk. I was supposed to start TX on Dec 28th 2007 but my Thyroid levels are off so they are making me wait. I was all set to go after XMAS but feel a great weight off my shoulders with this  reprieve. I'm taking special enjoyment of my dancing, running and family now. [Less]

She is a terrible spokesperson. In most of the pictures she is at a party with a drink in her hand.

Trying to do to much for too many and breaking myself down.

I found tip on another site I use to visit, it helped Mike I hope it helps you too. Mike is a NamVet so he visits the VA in SJ and there is no comparison for the care he received from Iowa City VA. I am not Happy at all with the care he gets in SJ. He was sched for test which he took and we have never received the results! I called and spoke with the nurse and she says when you visit the doctor he will give them to you. Well in all the time that test were being schedule not one visit was scheduled with the doc. I could go on and on about the VA in SJ but I wont bore you with it. At the moment we have no transportation to take the hr ride to SJ so we are at a stand still. Which is why I got on to this site, looking for info to help with his diet. good luck OT

Just wanted to let you know I can relate. If you ever want to talk, you know where to find me. I too had positive RA factor before tx and still do. I have on and off elevated CRP and sed rate. So they don't really have a diagnosis for me. I know the 40 weeks of Neupogen made my bones hurt so bad. Maybe one day the docs will know more about the tx. problems. Have a wonderful day. proud48
