Five years ago when my wife returned to school teaching, I gave up being a vegan (159 lbs) and turned into a meat-eater again. I gained gobs of weight due to stress. One of the reasons I did this was I got diagnosed with acid reflux and the doctor said I shouldnt eat...
[More] beans. He gave me protonix, etc. About two years ago I almost stopped having chest pains. Instead I got pain below my sternum. It goes to my stomach also. Once in a while I throw up. Sometimes the pain goes away. I can feel the food go down my esophagus and hit my stomach quite often. I was treated by a chiropractor for hiatal hernia. He pushed down below my left ribcage and I had no pain for five weeks or for that matter any early satiety. Now with more stress I have these symptons all the time. I drink a lot of tea. should I stop that? Should I return to my old vegan ways? Do I realy have a hiatal hernia? It is true that with a dramatic weight loss the hiatal hernia can go away?
