RE suggested natural cycle IVF in June. 2nd day blood results good: FSH 8 and estrogen 37. Both scans went well. One follicle was 18,5 and other was smaller. Aspiration on Friday 13th - failed. Nice size follicle but no egg inside! It will take me some time to pick up the pieces and continue. [Less]

Went for retrieval and when I woke up I was told that my follicule did not contain egg. apparently it happens ocassionally! I was so upset... RE said that it happens often...[more]

Hi Zansi,
Did you know your antral follical count before you began your IVF meds?
Mine seem low, but the nurse says the opposite.
I was very nervous yesterday to start the injections - $700 for a 1/4" injection. Holy ****! The balance for just the meds is $7000. I hope some of this is covered.

Hi Zansi,
As far as support is concerned it is very important. Maybe you have local groups in your area?? They have one at our Clinic, maybe yours also??
I wouldnt give up if you can afford it as long as your RE thinks you have any chance at all.
We leave today for our wedding so I will be not be on for a while.
Keep your chin up. You have my support.
