I am mjthewriter's dad (obvious).   She is an adult on the autistic specturm diagnosed as PDD-NOS.  I also have a teenage daughter, diagnosed as "teenage-NOS!" ... [More]   

I get off on helping parents of children with special needs navagate the world of special education.  I like to help advocate for parents.  Some school systems are a pain to get needed services for our children despite United States Federal law mandates.

As children with autism grow to be adults with autism, other challenges abound.  I am currently trying to navagate that world! [Less]
