About Me:

Female, WI, member since Jan 2008

I am 42.  I have two boys 16 and 18. Recently I have updated my journal on what I went through and my current condition. Intrested in natural health- supplements - Chinese medicine and natural healings. I switched from Synthyroid to Armour and LOVING IT.  I am involved... [More] in Chinese medicine and bio idential hormones and find there really is an answer to this thyroid madness. Still getting more reputable information too.

Thyroid Disease history:
2003 Graves Hyper storm Dx
2004 RAI
2004-2007 Hypothryoid near coma in 2006.
2007 - Dx T4 T3 conversion with Synthroid not sucessful put on Armour thyroid
2008 - present TSH 0.04 and it is wonderful --- NOPE ... not hyper either!!!
Jan 2008 Dx with solid 1cm nodule left side.  TBA further treatment
Mar - FNA inconclusive due to deep lesion - wait and see Jun 08

Present TSH 0.04 @approx 120mg Armour

Other Dx and in remission:

IBS - acid reflux - high Blood pressure - high cholestrol 233 - (not being treated)

ALL GONE NOW with Armour and supplements. NO MORE ANXIETY MEDS either. Yeah!!

Meds:
Armour (self dosage under doctors orders)
Xanax .25  NOPE -  GONE!!! -- NOT KNOW MORE!!  Hooorrrrrayyyy!!!!
Vit C 1500-2000 daily - buffed to support stomach
Acetyl - L Carnitine 500mg once daily
acidophillus 2x daily
Magnesuim 200 mg daily
Zinc/Copper
