Just a quick note to say hi! Hang in there! There will be good days and bad - that is a given. And it has nothing to do with MS - THAT'S LIFE!!!! By the way are you taking anything for high blood pressure? My doctor put me on sometime for a slient elevated BP. It gave such lower back pain that I could hardly get out of bed. I stopped taking it and I never heard a thing from my doctor about my "elevated BP". It just shows you that YOU need to me aware of everything that effects you. Be am active participant in your medical care. Good Luck!

You need to go see a worker's comp lawyer and discuss what your options are. First see if your company can provide work that is suitable for you, if not then maybe it's time to file a worker's comp suit and go that route. You can't go this alone, a worker's comp lawyer understands what you are going through and can be a real help in making decisions on what's best for you. best of luck to you, hope you get well soon

Hi JMar, I am a 44 yr old F who had an accident about 6 weeks ago involving my back. I had an MRI and I have 3 bulging discs and the lower one is torn and protruding. I am only beginning the journey of doctors, doctors and more doctors and already I am sick of it. I see a neurologist next week and am dreading it. My back hurts alot and there's just nothing that relieves the pain, I know how you feel. I am engaged and he's active and I feel like a great big buzzkill because he can do things and I can't anymore. I have surrended myself to narcotics now and hope to GOD I don't get addicted. I know how you are feeling and I'm so sorry. Feel free to contact me anytime you want to just vent

Sure thing, your in my prayers tonight. I am hurting really bad at the moment too. I have a wisdom tooth poking through and its making my jaw ache like crazy. I hope your doing better than me as of recent. My migraines and neck have been getting a little better though. I started doing the Wii Fit Game and working on yoga. Its been a thrill that I can exercise again and not the jarring stress on the neck pain. I hope that this helps me cause the pills and all that are not doing much but making me a zombie.

Oh Sweetie, I definately can relate to the frustrations of Dr's. I am sooo sorry you are having such a tough time with the pain and the unsympathetic Dr's. Have you ever tried a Tens Unit? It can give a person some relief from back pain. I have one, and I love it. They are a little pricey but they are worth every penny. You place electrodes on the affected area and plug them into the unit, you can set it to do a rolling shock or a pulverizing shock. I would check into one and also there are some patches called Lidoderm, they are a pain relieving patch made from Lidocaine. You can wear them for 12 hours at a time. I hope the Dr's @ Winston Salem can come up with a treatment plan for you Sweetie. Hang in there and don't give up on yourself!!!! Love, Ada
