[More]e to severe degenerative arthritis of both knees, back, and shoulder. My health problems are: Chronic Obesity, High Blood Pressure, Heart Murmur, Degenerative Arthritis, and recently Gallbladder Problems. Surgeries I've had are: Tubal Ligation, Gastric Stapling(1978),and sweat glands removed from both arm pits(infection). Back in Oct 2006 I was hospitalized due to possible heart attack and found I was in the beginning stages of kidney failure. At that time I was 397lbs, trouble breathing, both legs swollen to the point of seeping, and could barely walk( I had to use crutches to walk with). When I got out of the hospital, I changed Doctors to one that has helped me tremendously! He changed my medicine, and put me on a 1200mg/day sodium/low carb diet. I'm now 294lb, no kidney problems, no more trouble breathing, and walking with only the minor support of a cane. Currently I have been having problems with my stomach, and found that my doctor says I have gallstones or sludge and and that I should have my gallbladder removed. So that the latest, I will be seeing a surgeon in April to talk over the possibilities of gallbladder surgery.
