About Me: Female, 84, North Hampton - NH, member since Feb 2008
I am a 83 year old wwoman, recently widowed after 61 yrs marriage.Was diagnosed with COPD because of some breathing problems and smoking history. 2 years ago was hospitalized with Bronchitis, released from hospital on oxygen. 18 months later diagnosed with Pulmonary  Fi ... [More] brosis, at U. of Denver Hosp in Denver..It has been reccomended that I have a lung biopsy to determine cause and therefore trearment. Any advice a thoughts on this? [Less]

I'm looking for help on the issue of the value of a"lung biopsy "at my age as opposed to trying a steriod for 3 mos to see if it works?
