About Me: Female, Matagorda - TX, member since Mar 2008
I am a 50 year old chronic pain patient.  I developed adhesive arachnoiditis after a pre-surgical myelogram.  Besides wanting to learn new ways to live with chronic pain, I am interested in educating people about arachnoiditis and its causes, with the hope that my educa ... [More] ting them can help them to avoid the torture that I now live with.  PMs wanting info on adhesive arachnoiditis are always welcome!
I live on the Gulf Coast of Texas with my wonderful fiance, our dog and our small herd of cats.  My hobbies are crocheting, cooking, and spending time online. [Less]

I must say, what a great idea to use a seat belt on the cat carrier. I never thought of it!!! Brilliant-you've probably saved a bunch of kitties with this idea!! Thanks!

Mood: Savas ...Savas doesn't have moods, he goes through life with a slightly puzzled "why is this happening to me?" look on his face or a smiling "What me worry?!?!" expression. Moods are too complicated for a Savas to comprehend!

Hope you Do get to sleep through the madness, how nice to share your story!! Second the motion that all the chemical (whatever it is) can't be good for you. Can relate to invulnerable roaches though, live in Austin, some of old "hippy" areas have so many couldn't sit down use the potty when (briefly) visited. Stayed 1 night at very very nice hotel on beach little east, when picked up receiver of phone hundreds of little buggies came running out. Went to desk instead of using phone, got can of spray myself (and very organic/non-chemical). Put phone in closet and didn't open suitcase any more than necesary! Hope you get to feeling better, don't know anything about aracboiditis but I've RSD and plenty experience with sleepless nights and chronic pain! Thanks for the story! Susie
