All the good thoughts and prayers and hugs worked, as did the blood patch. My spinal headache is gone (though I have to be careful, take it easy, so the patch stays in place)! My back hurts, but what the heck, it's a fair trade, and the back will calm down before long. The doctor was a really nice woman, and told me that I should see an opthamologist about my blurry vision, as my regular eye doctor that I saw last month could have missed something. She also said that my bladder issues could be related to MS. Good experience, good day.

Thank you for your kind and booty - kicking words! I'm waiting for my neurologist's office to open so I can get set up with an anesthesiologist who will inject my own blood in the epidural space where there is a leak of spinal fluid, which will then clot, stop the leakage, and cure my headache. I think I only have to lie flat for an hour after this procedure. I'll let you know how things turn out. I'm going back to bed and my bottle of water! Kathy
