n't sure what to do with herself at the moment.
About Me: Female, 29, Phoenix - AZ, member since Mar 2008
I'm an insurance professional living in Phoenix, AZ. I work mostly and haven't really kept up with any outside hobbies in a long time. I'm hoping to eventually get to a point where I feel decent and have enough energy to start enjoying life again! :-)
Tingling of the Lips and Tongue

I know too well the "tingling sensations" and dizziness. I hope you get the answers you're looking for. I'm in the valley as well (as of July '08 from WI).

continued... Lay off the coffee for a while, it's a diuretic (it dehydrates), or switch to decaf. Make sure you drink 12 glasses of water a day. This is totally fixable and simple. I went throught this 2 summers in SoCal before I figured out what was going on. Had all the same symptoms and I thought I had every disease in the book. You are fine. Don't worry. Email me if you have any questions... ***@**** Toni

Well, I see you in your pic holding a big old cup a joe, and coupled with the fact you live in Arizona it's no wonder you have tingling tongue and fuzzy vision and dizziness upon standing. If you still have this problem (and I imagine it comes and goes) you should know it's not a horrible disease. Your electrolytes are imbalanced and you are mildly dehydrated. iherb.com has some great electrolyte replacements at reduced costs and they will arrive in a few days with very low shipping rates. Stay away from spaorts drinks and ones that have sugars as a main ingredient. Pedialyte would be best. But sip it, don't chug. You don't want to pee it out, you want your body to absorb it.
