Just calling and wondering if it would be at all possible for us to meet somewhere? I'm not looking for a relationship if that's what you're worried about. Just a friend to hang out with and do things together. You know how it feels when you want to go see a show, but you don't want to go alone? Interested in being friends to just hang out and take life a little bit easier?

Mood Swings are also with me. Not as bad as people who have manic attacks, but still to the point of wishing I had someone to talk to, who can relate. Many people tell you to look at the bright side, or it's going to take time but it'll all get better. Sounds like what doctors and nurses say to their patients, when really they have no idea how it feels. I'm interested in knowing where you got the Acupuncture done, as that sound interesting. Due to the med's I'm on for epilepsy, I can't take AD's for very long. I only had Effexor for a while before it buggered up my other meds and made me have seizures which is depressing enough. Now I'm slowly getting off the antiseizure meds too. Feeling more and more like the real me!

Thanks for replying! I too had to deal with the after effects of Effexor XR, mixed with Ativan but in the summer of 2004, right after my younger brother died. The thing I hated the most about it was how it amplified the effects of my Anticonvulsants, making me into a zombie at times. People would be laughing at jokes in a movie or something, and it didn't really affect me. Like I got the joke, but didn't think it was that funny. Now I'm doing better, as I'll go into stores like "Seeing is Believing" and wonder who I could use this device on? Same with sleeping patterns... used to only stay asleep for a few hours at a time. Bed at 10pm really really tired, only to wake up at 2:00 in the morning and up all night. More to say... but it says I've exceeding the character limit on this.

Let me just say that I'm really glad I found you on this site, for I too have to deal with the same stuff. My real disability is Epilepsy, but it comes with BiPolar and the hard times around it. Please add me as a friend and we can talk more! Take Care!
