Complete hyst & ooph 04/08. Recovering well.
08/30 update--recovering well still, but having trouble doing more than just "working and going home and taking care of fami... [More] ly"... I can't grocery shop like I used to, can't entertain without "paying the price" the next day. I have a very difficult time traveling for work (exhausted) and rarely go out to BBQ's, movies, any fun things, because the next day I STILL feel run over by a truck, and my surgery was 4 months ago!
I think it's normal, and because I'm so obese, diabetic, neuropathic, HBP, sky hi triglycerides etc. I'm also waiting to get a C-pap machine (my co-pay is $1500).
Maybe after I'm sleeping better at night, I'll have more energy to do the things I used to! [Less]

Hi,
Thanks for the kind wishes for Monday, I'm afraid noone has mentioned anything about being given stuff to drink before the surgery. I guess I'll find out about such things on Monday morning. Thanks for the tips I'll see what the nurse suggests.
I'll let you all know how I get on as soon as I feel able to sit up at the computer. It's weird since at the moment I feel absolutely fine, my symptoms have always been very mild and ignorable but I guess it's improtant to get this thing out of me.

Hi Donna, thanks for the note, how nice to hear from you! I am just now getting back on here when I can. I'm back to work, and running the kids around, and would say I'm feeling pretty good post surgery, although I just had a some other nonovary related things going on lately I am on the mend from, but things are starting to look up.. I hope you were well enough to enjoy your summer, it goes by so fast! Remember to just take one day at a time, you'll get there eventually. Don't try and pack too much in a day. It was really really great to hear from you, keep in touch when you can!! Joelle

Hi Donna, thanks for the note I was wondering where you had vanished to lol !! . I know you are busy with work and family and its great to know that everythings going well for you . Im doing ok myself at the moment , am fedup with the lack of summer we,ve been having over here its done nothing but rain for weeks on end !!. . My twin sister is in hospital at the moment having a hysterectomy but thankfully its not for cancer like it was for me so im thankful for that, its still worrying though when family are in the hospital and we are quite close being twins. It was so nice of you to send me a note , keep in touch every now and again when you can . Take care and don,t work too hard , love Angie xx
